April on the College of Wisconsin–Madison marks the annual celebration of APIDA Heritage Month. On April 22, the APIDA Heritage Month Planning Committee partnered with WUD Delicacies to welcome New York Occasions Meals Employees Reporter and bestselling cookbook creator Priya Krishna for the keynote occasion. Krishna often explores the intersection of meals and society by her on-line video collection and cookbooks, “Indian-ish” and “Cooking at Dwelling.”

The fifth annual APIDA Gala on April 26 was the ultimate flagship occasion for this 12 months’s celebration. College students gathered on the Pyle Heart for a proper banquet with performances, an awards ceremony, and dancing with a dwell DJ with WSUM.
