U.S. Rep. Eric Burlison, R-Missouri seventh District, is the lead writer of a letter calling on alumni and donors to Columbia College in New York to chop off funding.
The letter follows quite a few anti-Israeli and pro-Palestinian protests on the Ivy League college which have disrupted campus life and spawned comparable protests in school campuses throughout the nation. That features latest protests at Washington College in St. Louis.
Within the “open letter to Columbia College alumni and donors,” Burlison and 14 different U.S. Home Republicans urge them to stop all monetary donations “till there are demostrable adjustments in management, together with the resignation of Columbia College President Minouche Shafik.”
U.S. Rep. Jason Smith, R-Missouri eighth District, additionally signed the letter.
